These are a pair of Palazzo-Scaled 18th Century Polychrome and Parcel-Gilt Venetian Blackamoors. Both of the figures stand separately on a black socle, circular in shape. One of the figures holds a tray while the other one is with an urn. These figures are in exotic fashion, with an ‘oriental’ skirt and colorful feathered-shaped head crown. The feathers on the headpieces have red, blue, yellow, and green with a hint of gold, while the armbands and anklets are completely golden.?
